A Focus on Catering

It was about probably shoot almost 10 years now when I first got into the Yogurtini game. We purchased our Plaza location in 2015 and from then we were just trying to figure out the frozen yogurt game. From then to now, our focus was make a really good in-store experience and it has been very interesting. But along the way every once in a while, we’d get outside of the store and do catering and in-person events and whatnot. Recently, it's been really fun because in 2024 we've really dedicated ourselves to perfecting the in-store experience, but also getting outside of the store and just doing more catering. We love being around the people, going to you guys, and serving your events. Showing up and really doing the catering thing has been super fun. We've done a lot of those this year and it's been worthwhile as we've learned so much. We haven't had every single event be perfect, but we have been amongst the energy and that has been really cool experience.

The kind of the question that we get is how do you do this self-served Frozen Yogurt experience in-person and I don't know a few years ago if we had that answer. But now, I know that we do have that and it's a super fun and unique experience. It's a different energy, and with us putting the yogurts in our cups and pre-freezing it, the 8 ounces stays frozen and then we really bring you your own little topping bar, depending on what the specific customer wants. It's given a personalization to the event that I don't know if we knew was going to happen when we first started the journey of of catering. We tried to mimic in-store as much as we could and I think we've been able to do that.

But every event is different and I think that really humanizes it. Honestly, that was just our goal from the beginning: doing business in a way that really serves people and is like humans serving humans. Being good and adding good without the cutthroat demonization of capitalism that goes on in our world today. I think there's something really important about finding business owners and building a community around people who are just trying to feed their families and put away some money for their kids. And then with the excess, they give back. I think that's really cool and I think that matters. I support business owners like that and I know you all do too.

So as we continue to keep going out in the community and serving it with frozen yogurt, we hope that you guys will do the same thing with other local business owners. Whether it's us or if it's some of our friends who are out there and whether it's catering or fundraising or something else. I appreciate all you you guys' support and we’re always here if you need us to cater an event or have any questions or ideas about how we can serve you!
